LIVESTREAM CLASS - DETAILS & HELPFUL TIPS

Practice with us from home or anywhere in the world with internet access. Livestream classes allow you to join our in-studio group classes from your de​sktop, tablet or phone easily via our Momence software. 


  • Sign up for livestream classes as least 1 hour prior to class beginning. You will receive an email with the link to join the livestream ~60 minutes prior to class. Please mute your microphone during practice to eliminate excess background noise.


  • PROPS: For most classes, we suggest having 2 blocks and a yoga strap handy. Other useful props may include a blanket, bolster, eye pillow, and clear wall space (for modifying poses, inversions, Legs Up The Wall pose, etc.). If you don't have these props at home, there are often things you can substitute: a scarf or dog leash for a yoga strap, beach towels for blankets, etc.

Class Descriptions

FLOW YOGA 

Connect breath with movement while building strength and flexibility with a strong focus on alignment. Learn to let go of outside distractions as you take your focus inward. Leave feeling calmer and more balanced, physically and mentally. ​   

  • BASICS is great for beginners, and will focus on detailed verbal instructions of basic asanas (yoga poses). Students will begin to understand movement linked to breath. This class moves slower than our All Levels class, allowing for more instruction and clarity in building the foundation of the basic poses.  
  • ALL LEVELS classes mean that all levels are welcome! However, the class will move at a faster pace than our Basics class, and will assume that you have a basic knowledge of asanas (poses), i.e. if the instructor says go to Warrior 1 or Downward Dog, you know what to do. The instructor will help students modify postures as needed, and easier versions of asanas will be offered during practice so students can move at a comfortable pace.  
  • ADVANCED classes may include inversions, arm balances and other challenging poses. A regular vinyasa flow practice and knowledge of poses is recommended, however, modifications and rest are always offered.  
  • SMARTFLOW yoga classes celebrate the innate intelligence of mindful, flowing movement, developed by California based master yoga teacher, Annie Carpenter. SmartFLOW sequences are intelligently designed for a healthy and safe yoga practice. Britni Serou is one of only 5 certified SmartFLOW trainers internationally, after training and assisting Annie over several years and completing additional certification assignments. 


KETTLEBELL YOGA Kettlebell Yoga combines the principles of resistance training with yoga. Kettlebells provide an offset weight that challenges the body to stabilize within a complex pattern of movements. In this power packed class, expect multiple benefits in all body systems. Get strong, increase agility, improve balance, build a strong spine and core, and more.


YIN Yin yoga teaches the body to surrender allowing deep tissues to release and minds to quiet. A gentle practice with long holds that are more active than Restorative yoga. Open to all levels, including beginners.   


YIN BLEND A combination of Yin (see above) and Restorative Yoga, which is a very slow, gentle practice. Long holds in restorative poses, supported by bolsters and blankets, allowing for a deep release of physical and mental tension. The only effort needed is to show up! Open to all levels, including beginners.

MEDITATION Guided meditation utilizing breath awareness and other points of focus to help steady attention and quiet the mind. Beginners and regular practitioners are welcome.
